In the second hour, the energy regulator Ofgem says profits per customer at electricity and gas suppliers have risen almost 40% in the last three months. British Gas, Scottish & Southern and Scottish Power have all announced price rises recently. We speak to Audrey Gallagher, head of energy at the watchdog Consumer Focus.
