Bob returns to Shieldinch but Scarlett's hopes of a reconciliation are dashed. A handsome visitor in town unsettles both Leyla and Hayley. Sparks fly between Fraser and Gabriel.
While Scarlett gets her hopes up about being pregnant, Jimmy spots that Bob is back in Shieldinch. Jimmy tries to tell Scarlett the news but her appointment with Michael puts her head in a spin. She brushes Jimmy off, not realising the significance of what he has to say. Jimmy tracks down Deek and demands to know where Bob is but Deek warns him that Bob doesn't want to see anyone. When Jimmy finally manages to tell Scarlett about Bob's return she heads straight round to see him but there's no happy reunion. An emotional Scarlett implores him to come around that night but a torn and emotional Bob won't open the door. When Bob doesn't turn up, Jimmy goes looking for him and demands to know what's going on. Bob defends himself - he never said he would come and admits he isn't going to. Jimmy is disgusted. As Jimmy returns, Liz is chatting to Scarlett about how nice it is to see Bob back at the pub, casually mentioning he was with Theresa and Molly. Scarlett is deeply hurt and decides she's finished with Bubba for good.
Michael and Gabriel's younger brother Leo returns home on leave. He has an instant spark with Hayley and there's clearly tension between him and Leyla. Leo resents Leyla as he was close to Michael's first wife, Chloe, and he believes Leyla was the reason Michael left the army. Leyla sees how close Leo is to her new family and can't help feeling that she and Adeeb are on the sidelines. She tries to win Leo over by assuring him that whilst she may not always like him, she cares for him because the people she loves do, but Leo isn't having any of it. Leo and Conor have a close bond. Conor is impressed with army life and proudly announces he plans to join up. Michael is horrified and is against the idea, but Leo is supportive. It's clear life for the new family won't be running smoothly with Leo around.
Fraser sees his car is scratched and instantly blames Gabriel. Out for revenge, Fraser sets up an under age lad to buy fireworks from Gabriel in order to get him into trouble with the law. Yet again, Fraser's plan doesn't have the desired effect as Gabriel and the locals enjoy the impromptu display. As fireworks career across Montego Street, Gabriel eyeballs Fraser, his card is well and truly marked.
