The debut UK appearance of the Teresa Carre帽o Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, a product of the country's famous music programme, El Sistema. Their programme contrasts two Fifth Symphonies - Beethoven's revolutionary masterpiece and Prokofiev's heroic work written against the backdrop of the Second World War. Each stands as a defining work of their respective centuries, and remain among the composers' most popular works.
