Meanwhile, a new survey has found that a quarter of sexually active young people don't use contraception with a new partner. Most said they were too drunk to bother. Do young people take contraception and parenthood seriously enough? Is the problem that people don't care or understand enough about the consequences of having sex without protection? Whose responsibility is it - his or hers?
