Episode 3
In Johannesburg, WAG Imogen Thomas helps re-house homeless boys into a shelter and Elen Rivas witnesses how thousands of people have been forced to live in squatter camps.
Five WAGs leave their pampered lives behind to experience the reality of life behind the gloss of the World Cup by rolling up their sleeves to work in some of the poorest and most deprived neighbourhoods in the host nation, South Africa.
Chantelle Tagoe (Emile Heskey's partner), Ellie Darby (Matthew Upson's partner), Elen Rivas (Frank Lampard's ex-partner) and the ex-girlfriends of Jermaine Pennant and Jermaine Defoe - Amii Grove and Imogen Thomas - are faced with the stark reality of the orphan crisis, HIV pandemic and social breakdown there.
In Johannesburg, the crime capital of South Africa, Imogen Thomas braves the dangerous streets of Hillbrow in a bid to re-house homeless boys into the safety of a shelter. Elen Rivas witnesses how thousands of people in the city have been forced to live in squatter camps, well out of sight of the tourists arriving for the World Cup.
