Theresa manipulates an increasingly desperate and frightened Scarlett into doing some very bad deeds. Deek continues to isolate himself and push Bob and Stella away.
It's Bob's birthday so Scarlett, Jimmy and Madonna surprise him at the garage. Big Bob arrives with an expensive present from himself, Molly (and secretly Theresa). At Molly's, Theresa's getting fed up of hiding away from Scarlett, and Molly anxiously tries placating her. Scarlett goes to thank Molly for Bob's birthday gift but is horrified when Theresa opens the door. Scarlett sends Jimmy home. Theresa invites her in for a catch up and they discuss their 'deal'. Scarlett confirms that no-one knows about it, not even Jimmy. Scarlett boasts about her life and Theresa is secretly jealous, whilst Molly looks on nervously. Scarlett gets home and tells Jimmy that the woman was her sister - Theresa. Jimmy has heard she's trouble and is concerned. Scarlett goes to see Molly and asks her what they're going to do about Theresa before she ruins things. Scarlett asks Molly for her help to get rid of Theresa and she offers to try. Molly approaches Theresa and tries to ask her to move on but Theresa claims she can't afford to live alone. Theresa remarks that Molly still has her shoplifting coat in the wardrobe and sends her on the rob. Scarlett later runs into Molly and realises that she's been shoplifting. Scarlett knows that Theresa has put her up to this and tells a fuming Theresa to keep Molly out of her schemes. When Scarlett is at work, Theresa goes round to the Mullen's flat and invites Jimmy to the pub.
Scarlett's working behind the bar and is angry and nervous about Jimmy and Theresa drinking together. Theresa works her charms on Jimmy. Scarlett tries to warn Theresa off, but Theresa makes it clear she wants money to stay away. Scarlett asks Raymond to cash a 500-pound cheque for her, for a 'family emergency'. Scarlett gives Theresa the 500 pounds but Theresa then decides she's not going anywhere, and she threatens to tell everyone Scarlett's secret! A desperate Scarlett goes into a phone box and calls the police with information on stolen goods. Theresa begins stirring and Jimmy is angry to learn from Theresa that Scarlett gave her 500 pounds - they can't afford that! Jimmy confronts Scarlett. He wants to know why Scarlett is so eager to get rid of her but Scarlett can't tell him. At Molly's, Theresa shows out two police officers who didn't find any stolen goods - she's furious. She presumes Liz (who saw her selling goods earlier) called the cops on her. Theresa goes to Liz and accuses her of calling the police. Scarlett intervenes and takes Liz inside. Theresa starts to wonder whether it was Scarlett who called the police and confronts her. Scarlett tries to deny it. Theresa says Scarlett owes her more then ever now. Scarlett admits to Jimmy that she called the police and breaks down, but she can't admit to him why. Jimmy goes to speak to Theresa and threatens her - he tells her to leave. Alone, Scarlett starts to cash up after the hen do. Theresa, with Molly in tow, appears and demands all the takings. To make it look more 'believable' Theresa hits Scarlett before she and Molly leave with the cash. Scarlett then starts screaming. When Eileen and Raymond rush in, Scarlett tells them she was robbed by a masked intruder. Raymond calls the police.
Elsewhere, Ruth is feeling a tad bored with Gordon and is surprised and pleased to bump into Andy at the deli. He mentions that he's messed up Gabriella's hen do - he's got nowhere to hold it. Iona looks on in disbelief as Ruth offers to arrange the hen do for him. Privately, Ruth's going to prove to everyone, including herself that her feelings for Andy are all in the past. Ruth later makes up an excuse and reneges on a homely night in with Gordon. Ruth secures the Tall Ship as a venue and ropes in all her friends and family to help, including a concerned Gina. Andy then tells Ruth the bad news that Gabriella's family are stuck in Italy so the hen party is cancelled. Ruth is determined to go ahead anyway and tells Andy to make sure Gabriella is there and she'll find some guests. Ruth insists this is what friends do, they help each other. Later, the party eventually gets into full swing and the drink is flowing. Gabriella tells Ruth that she and Andy don't want children. Ruth is shocked and her reaction convinces Gabriella that she's not over Andy and storms off. Ruth catches up with Gabriella and tries to convince her that she isn't in love with Andy. Andy overhears. Andy thanks Ruth for everything and she kisses him on the cheek. Gordon sees Ruth kiss Andy goodbye out of the window. A sad Ruth watches Gabriella and Andy drive into the distance.
Raymond and Eileen have their last skills to foster training day. Things don't entirely go to plan due to Eileen's flirting with the course leader which almost blows their chances. However, Eileen and Raymond eventually do get their act together and hope they've done enough to pass the course. Later Raymond and Eileen are jubilant when they get a phone message saying that they are going forward to the next stage.
