Four months ago Frances Inglis was convicted of murder, given a life sentence and told she must spend a minimum of nine years in jail. She had injected her severely disabled 22-year-old son Thomas with a lethal shot of heroin.

In his first interview since the case, Alex Inglis (Thomas' brother and Frances' other son) speaks to Victoria, saying he considered doing the same thing and wants a change in the law to protect people like his mum.
