The latest financial results from British Airways are out this morning. They are expected to be their worst ever with some analysts predicting an annual loss of 拢600 million.

David Cameron is travelling to Berlin today to meet the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, as part of his first foreign trip as Prime Minister. The sovereign debt crisis, banking regulation, Germany's ban on naked short selling and the entire future of the euro are all on the table for discussion.
