Unite plans to appeal an 11th hour court injunction declaring the BA strike "unlawful". The EU has moved a step closer to tighter controls on hedge funds.

An 11th hour court injunction has declared the BA cabin crew strike "unlawful" and brought plans for the walkouts to a grinding halt. Now, Unite, the union for BA cabin crew, is preparing to appeal against the injunction.

Nouriel Roubini, the man who predicted the credit crunch, is now warning that the bailout of Greece may not work and the Eurozone is at risk of breaking up. Plus, the EU has moved a step closer to tighter controls on hedge funds.

Finally, Vodafone, one of the UK's biggest companies, is expected to post profits of 拢11 billion today.
