Brian D'Arcy introduces hymns and prayers for Rogation Sunday. With music from Tewkesbury Abbey's Schola Cantorum.
This week, Brian D'Arcy marks Rogation Sunday - a traditional observance which asks for God's blessing on the natural world. Music comes from Tewkesbury Abbey's Schola Cantorum and features the voice of one of 91热爆 Radio 2's Young Choristers of the Year 2009, Laurence Kilsby. The musical director is Benjamin Nicholas and the organist is Carleton Etherington. Hymns include "Brother Sister let me serve you", "Lead us heavenly father lead us" and "The spacious firmament on high". Produced by Janet McLarty.
