Lord Butler

Once again a spotlight is to be trained on why Britain went to war in Iraq. Jon Sopel asks Lord Butler if this inquiry will manage to restore public faith in the British government.

Once again a spotlight is to be trained on the still divisive issue of why Britain went to war in Iraq. This latest inquiry, ordered by the British government, will be the fifth time a committee here has considered this question. What will this one achieve and why is it needed?
