In England and Wales there was a 79 per cent increase in reports of hare coursing in the last year and a rise in reports of deer poaching. It has now become so profitable that police believe organised gangs are largely responsible. Charlotte Smith speaks to the newly appointed Poaching Officer about how he is going to tackle the problem.
