Willem Dafoe is a hugely respected and successful actor who has starred in both films which are critically acclaimed and those, like Spiderman, which are Hollywood blockbusters.

His latest film Antichrist, directed by Lars Von Trier, is highly controversial for scenes which are both sexually explicit and violent. Zeinab Badawi puts to Willem Dafoe the criticism levelled at the film that it has crossed the line between art and obscenity.
