Qualifying for the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 is now a distant dream for Wales after defeats against Finland and Germany in March. With fan and press criticism still ringing in his ears, the pressure is now mounting on Wales' manager John Toshack as the young Dragons face an end of season trip to Azerbaijan, looking to climb the Group 4 table.
With senior internationals Simon Davies and Craig Bellamy unlikely to travel, youngsters Gareth Bale and Jack Collison will have to carry the burden of trying to breach the Azeri defence and claim points in the Fortress City of Baku.
