From Watford Colosseum, Petroc Trelawny presents the 91热爆 CO in English light music. Works by David Lyon and Ernest Tomlinson, plus Haydn Wood: Violin Concerto, with Tasmin Little.

A concert given by the 91热爆 Concert Orchetra focusing on the theme of English light music, past and present. With a work by contemporary composer David Lyon, followed by one from Ernest Tomlinson, president of the Light Music Society and who was an instrumental figure in the 91热爆 Light Music Festivals in the late 1950s and 1960s. Violinist Tasmin Little, a champion of British music, joins the orchestra for Haydn Wood's heroic violin concerto, written in 1928.
