Petroc Trelawny presents a concert given by the venerable Dresden Staatskapelle at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival, featuring music by two past principal conductors, directed by the current incumbent, Fabio Luisi. Although famous for its performances of classic Teutonic repertoire, the orchestra also has a long history of performing new music and in this programme gives UK premiere of a piece by its composer-in-residence, Bernhard Lang.
