Lauren Laverne presents the prestigious Mercury Prize for the best UK album of the year live from the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Featuring clips from all the performances at the evening's awards show, plus insights from special guests and judges building up to the moment of truth when we go live to host Jools Holland to announce which of this year's twelve shortlisted acts will grab the main prize.

Whilst Radiohead, Elbow, Alex Turner (The Last Shadow Puppets) and Gruff Rhys (Neon Neon) have walked down this red carpet before, in a prize known for highlighting exciting new talent they will rub shoulders with debut acts such as Laura Marling, Rachel Unthank And The Winterset and Portico Quartet, alongside other contenders Robert Plant And Alison Krauss, British Sea Power, Estelle, Adele and Burial.
