Suzy Klein presents a concert from the 2008 Aldeburgh Festival, in which its Artistic Director-designate Pierre-Laurent Aimard, regarded as one of the greatest pianists in the world, takes on the role of conductor in. Collaborating with the Britten Sinfonia, his programme mixes the classical style of Haydn and Mozart with modern works by Schoenberg, Webern and the Festival's featured composer Gyorgy Kurtag.
