But when Murdaidh takes a more creative than practical approach in painting the milk cart and builds a castle of hay for the new chicks, his father thinks Murdaidh is playing instead of working. In the end, Murdaidh's overworked father sees the joy Murdaidh is getting from his work and rediscovers his own sense of play.
