Documentary series which uses computer animation technology to simulate dinosaurs and their world. This edition begins 100 million years ago in the warm world of the dinosaurs, when there were no ice caps at the poles. But life in the Antarctic forests was tough - for half the year they basked in 24-hour sunshine and for the other half in a freezing twilight. A group of delicate plant-eating dinosaurs called Leaellynasaura struggle to survive in these seasons of extremes.
