As we bid a sad farewell to Joe Grundy, a doting and fiercely loyal father, grandfather and great-grandfather, we look back on some of his finest moments. Though once shrewd and cantankerous, old age softened Joe, who took great pleasure in enjoying life's simple gifts: family time, his beloved horse Bartleby, his lounge chair, cider pressing, and propping up the bar at The Bull with a pint of Shires in hand - provided, of course, someone else was paying.
