The website covers the Somerset County Council area, but also includes neighbouring towns just outside - namely Weston-super-Mare and Midsomer Norton. From summer 2007, places in the very north of Somerset - Bath, Clevedon, Keynsham, Nailsea and Portishead - are going to be covered by bbc.co.uk/bristol rather than on this site.

91热爆 Somerset is due to broadcast on DAB (digital radio) when the new digital multiplex is launched in 2010.聽

Some 91热爆 Local Radio services are carried on capacity made available by commercial platform operators.

This is because the 91热爆's own digital multiplex is already used to full capacity for the national 91热爆 services.

Why can't I listen to football commentary online?

For a number of sporting events, such as for Yeovil Town matches, the 91热爆 only holds the rights to broadcast live commentary locally to the area covered by its radio transmitters.

Our internet service is available across the UK and around the world, and therefore we need to blank all output for which we do not hold international and/or internet rights.
