Advice: | Much of this walk is on tarmac, however part of the route on grass is uneven and can get muddy in bad weather, so an alternative is suggested for wheelchair users and buggies. It's mainly on flat ground with one short steep descent on the main route. |

In Brief: | You might not think of Gloucester as being coastal but the tidal waters of the River Severn flow here, and the famous docks, once bustling with commercial shipping, are now busy with pleasure boats. We take you on a walk around the city's waterways. |

Start: | Start from Gloucester Docks (signposted "Historic Docks" from main road approaches to Gloucester City Centre, and also from Gloucester railway and bus stations). |
