The Sarah Jane Adventures

The Sarah Jane Adventures

Sarah Jane Smith and her gang of trusty sidekicks return with more alien-busting adventures in the fourth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Featuring the usual mixture of thrills, laughs and scares, the new series promises fun with enemies old and new, including the terrors of the Nightmare Man and a dangerous journey back into history. The show also takes its first visit to an alien world and tackles brand new vulture aliens, the Shansheeth.

Elisabeth Sladen returns as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Tommy Knight as Luke, Daniel Anthony as Clyde and Anjli Mohindra as Rani.

The 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) makes a guest appearance in two special episodes, which unite Sarah Jane with another of the Doctor's former companions, Jo Grant (Katy Manning), in the mysteriously entitled Death Of The Doctor, written by Russell T Davies.

Additional guest stars include: Laila Rouass, Cheryl Campbell, David Bradley, Julie Graham and Lucie Jones.

The Sarah Jane Adventures is executive produced by Russell T Davies and Nikki Wilson, and produced by Brian Minchin. Writers on the fourth series include Phil Ford (also co-producer), Joseph Lidster, Rupert Laight, Gareth Roberts and Clayton Hickman.

Me And My Monsters

Me & My Monsters

Me & My Monsters is a brand new live action comedy featuring monsters from The Jim Henson Company.

The Carlson Family have recently relocated from Australia to a smart townhouse in the UK. It has everything you could wish for in a new home – even more incredibly it was on the market at a knock-down price – some might say it was a giveaway. So what's the catch? There are monsters living in the basement!

But they're not the kind of monsters to frighten people; Fiend, Haggis and Norman might look ogre-like, cause mess and mayhem and have questionable personal hygiene issues, but they just want to be loved and become part of the family.

Most of the family aren't too keen on that idea but, for Eddie, they're the best friends a 10-year-old boy could have.

Me & My Monsters is created by Mark Grant and produced by Tiger Aspect, Jim Henson's Creature Shop UK and Sticky Pictures in association with Baker Coogan Productions.

Sadie J

Sadie J

A feel-good family comedy with colourful characters and bags of belly laughs, Sadie J is a new studio-based sitcom about a feisty 13-year-old girl with the sass of Cheryl Cole and the punch of a prize fighter. That's because she's spent most of her life living with guys.

Try as she might, it's not easy being "Chezza fabulous" when Sadie is surrounded by a bunch of burping, wind-breaking blokes. When even the dog is a dude, no wonder she is so rubbish at being a girl.

Sadie J creates a world everyone can relate to – from pink obsessed princesses to bogey-loving boys.

The Sparticle Mystery

Set in modern Britain, starting on the day that all the adults disappear, The Sparticle Mystery is an ambitious new 13-part drama from the Bafta award-winning team behind last year’s C91Èȱ¬ school drama Summerhill.

Shot entirely on location, this ground-breaking science fiction action adventure series features an all child cast.

After the initial highs of living life without their parents, ten children set out on a dangerous Quest to solve the mystery of the Disappearance against the ticking clock of an imminent nuclear meltdown.

The Quest takes the children across a country of under-15s rebuilding itself along tribal lines to the top secret Sparticle Project – a massive particle collider machine built to look for parallel universes.

The Sparticle Mystery explores what children do in a world without adults, when they are given total freedom to be themselves, and dramatises their greatest challenge – to save the world, without Mum and Dad.

Just William

Just William

Outnumbered star Daniel Roche plays the incorrigible, irrepressible William in Simon Nye's new adaptation for C91Èȱ¬ of Richmal Crompton's timeless Just William stories.

The stellar line-up sees Caroline Quentin and Warren Clarke as William's new neighbours, the Botts, with Bafta award-winning Rebecca Front (The Thick Of It) and Daniel Ryan (The Street, Linda Green) as William's parents. They are joined by Judy Parfitt and comedian Roy Hudd, while Martin Jarvis, the voice behind the Just William audio books, narrates the series.

This four-part series follows the adventures and exploits of mischievous William Brown. Dedicated to comically disastrous doings, William embroils his band of "outlaws" in a series of riotous romps in the local woods, indulges in a spot of photographic blackmail and kidnaps a pair of parrots.

The series is directed by Paul Seed (A House Of Cards and A Rather English Marriage), the music is composed by Oscar-winner Stephen Warbeck, and produced by John Chapman and executive produced by Gina Cronk.
