As science evolves, reporting of it must work hard to stay up to date. Lost Horizons takes a single scientific topic (eg Mars, viruses, the Big Bang) and looks back through the Horizon archives to explore how our understanding of that subject has developed through the years, calling on archive footage, expert opinion and hindsight to tell the story of how our knowledge changes as science moves forward.
