Ìý
Some of the group – Gabby, Jarrod, Stavva and Tracy – have stayed in their hometown. But others are returning for the first time since they were last together on Gabby's 21st birthday – a night when one of the original group members, Jason, mysteriously drowned.
Ìý
First to arrive is Poppy. Happily in love and glad to be back home, Poppy can't wait for everyone to meet her new partner, Peta.
Ìý
Gabby, on the other hand, is keeping tight-lipped about the new man in her life. While she's very much in love, the fact that it's with Paul O'Donnell, the 19-year-old brother of her best friend, Jarrod, makes things complicated, as the 11-year age gap is sure to ruffle some feathers.
Ìý
Next to arrive is Philby, who has undergone some radical changes in the nine years he's been away. No longer in and out of trouble, Philby's found God, and love, and is ready to settle down in his home town with his wife, Tess, who's expecting their first baby.
Ìý
His friends and his mum, Deborah, are delighted to have Philby home, but the same can't be said for Philby's estranged younger brother, Daniel.
Finding it difficult to accept Philby and Tess's newly embraced religious life, the friction builds between the two brothers, leading to a threatening confrontation. Overwhelmed by this and a shocking discovery, Tess is left wondering who it is she has married and moved to Australia with.
Ìý
While the group gather for a barbecue ahead of the school reunion, the final member of the gang, Bec, makes a surprise return. Turning up unannounced, Bec opens a long-sealed can of worms between Tracy, Jarrod and herself. Nine years have passed with no contact. The last time Tracy saw Bec, Jarrod was Bec's boyfriend – that is before she fled without any explanation, leaving him heartbroken. Now Jarrod is Tracy's husband and the father of their eight-year-old daughter, Zoe.
Ìý
But Bec has other things on her mind, as she repeatedly hangs up on a mystery caller. When her ex, Stephen, turns up it's clear why she's decided to return to Manly after such a long time.
Ìý
Meanwhile, Addo, Jarrod's other younger brother, meets the girl of his dreams, who invites himout on a date. Seeking the advice of self-styled ladies' man Stavva, Addo is offered a loan of Stavva's most prized possession – his car, the Stavva-mobile.

While Bec remains tight-lipped, Tracy becomes increasingly suspicious of Jarrod's whereabouts the previous night.
Ìý
News of the death is conveyed and the gang gathers around the dead body, identifying him and answering initial questions to the police. No one saw the victim go swimming, and though he had a reputation for being an adrenalin junkie, everyone is in shock.
Meanwhile, the victim's family is informed of the death by police.
Ìý
When Addo wakes up worse for wear, he discovers a mysterious note from a visitor the previous night that he cannot recall. Oblivious to recent events, Lucia tells Addo about
the death.

Episode five
Ìý
Investigations into the murder commence with the entire gang being questioned.
Ìý
Addo's panic intensifies as he realises that with no memory he has no way of proving his innocence. Since he knows nothing for sure, anything is possible and he begins to feel that someone must have spiked his drink.
Ìý
Convinced of his innocence, Stavva and Jarrod attempt to help Addo recall and piece together the events of the previous night. They begin by attempting to find the author of the note left for Addo, but to no avail.
Ìý
While gathering his clothes from his illegal digs, Addo realises he lost his trousers last night – literally. And, to make matters worse, Addo's squatting is exposed by the highly unimpressed owner of the flat he's been staying in.
Ìý
Meanwhile, forensics discover that the victim was taken from a car, dragged and then dropped into the water. Stavva's sister, Lucia, is identified as the owner of the vehicle. Stavva previously told Wilson he had driven his sister's car to the reunion, which means that he is brought in to the station for further questioning.

As the case against Stavva is building, the police believe he had the means but question his motivation.

Poppy's partner, Peta, arrives in town with a splash and is thrown in the deep end using her legal skills to assist Addo in working out exactly what happened to him on his lost night.
