Dates confirmed for second year of Electric Proms

The 91热爆 has confirmed the dates for the second year of the 91热爆 Electric Proms.
听
Following the successful inaugural festival, the 2007 event will take place
from 24 to 28 October.
听
On Tuesday 6 March Festival Director Lorna Clarke will hold a briefing
session for key members of the music industry.
听
At the presentation she will
outline her vision for the second year and will challenge industry bosses to
develop the theme of creating new moments in music and collaborations amongst
new and established acts.
听
The second year of the Electric Proms will once again be based at the
Roundhouse in Camden, London.
听
In addition, a number of other Camden venues
including Koko, Electric Ballroom, Jazz Caf茅 and Barfly will also host
performances.
听
Outside the capital, the regional element of the festival - Next
Stage - will also continue in 2007.
听
Lorna Clarke said: "Now that we have got the first year under
our belt it will be easier for me to talk to the industry as they will have a
real sense of what the Electric Proms are trying to achieve.
听
"I want to challenge them to help me make this year's festival even more
creative and innovative.
听
"The meeting next week is also vital as it gives me a
chance to hear their feedback about what they thought worked well and what
needs to be developed."
听
Although broadcast details have yet to be confirmed it is expected that the
event will once again make use of the 91热爆's multi-platform access points
meaning music fans will be able to enjoy the event on television, radio, online
and via the red button for digital viewers.
