Richard Park – Head Teacher/Judge

Ìý

Richard has spent most of his illustrious career in the radio business as a broadcaster and broadcast manager. Having trained as a journalist, he worked for the 91Èȱ¬ before joining Radio Clyde where he became the station's first winner of its prestigious Sony Local Radio Broadcaster of the Year Award. In 1987, he joined Capital Radio as Programme Controller and led the station to achieve its biggest audiences ever. He launched a revamped Capital FM, introduced Capital Gold to the airwaves in 1988 and was instrumental in launching the careers of many of today's successful broadcasters. Richard was appointed to the plc board in 1991 and was directly responsible for the inception of the annual Party In The Park events in London's Hyde Park and the birth of the million-album-selling Wildstar records. Richard left Capital in early 2001 to open a consultancy business, where his clients have included Universal Records, Channel 4, Really Useful Group and Express newspapers. He is currently consultant programme director at Emap station Magic. As the infamous headmaster of 91Èȱ¬ One's Fame Academy and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, Richard has moved from sound to vision and now appears regularly on a variety of television chat shows.

Lesley Garrett – Judge

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Lesley is widely known as Britain's most popular soprano and a multi-award-winning artist. She joined the English National Opera in 1984 and is now a member of the Board of Directors. Her television credits include The Lesley Garrett Show, Jobs For The Girls, Viva La Diva, The Lily Savage Show, South Bank Show, Sacred Songs, The Little Prince and Who Do You Think You Are? In 2004 she displayed another side to her extensive talents as a contestant in on 91Èȱ¬ One's Strictly Come Dancing. In 2002, Lesley was awarded a CBE. In 2006, she joined the original cast of the hit musical The Sound Of Music at the London Palladium. Lesley is a regular contributor and co-presenter of ITV1's daytime chat show Loose Women and has hosted her own show on Classic FM every Sunday afternoons for the past four years.

Craig Revel Horwood – Judge

Ìý

Having trained as a dancer in his native Australia, Craig moved to the UK which led to roles in various West End shows. He went on to become resident director for Miss Saigon at the Theatre Royal and launched his career as a major director and choreographer in musical theatre. In 2004, Craig became well known to the British public as the toughest judge on 91Èȱ¬ One's Strictly Come Dancing and its subsequent spin-off shows. Craig became a judge on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy in 2005 and the following year was choreographer on the hit 91Èȱ¬ One talent series, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? Craig was recently involved with staging the dances for play Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, starring Claire Bloom and Billy Zane, which is currently running at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket.

David Grant – Vocal Coach

David and his wife, Carrie, are probably the best-known pop vocal coaches in the UK. With a client list that includes Will Young, Melanie C, Lemar and numerous others, their credentials are second to none. Throughout the early Eighties, David had a successful career, first as the vocalist for the Brit-funk duo Linx, followed by a solo career and a Top 5 single, Could It Be I'm Falling In Love, a duet with Jaki Graham. Alongside Carrie, David joined the original series of Fame Academy and remained with the show for its subsequent series in aid of Comic Relief. His recent television appearances include Masterchef and The Match, and viewers can also spot him on 91Èȱ¬ Two's Something For The Weekend. He is a regular panellist on five's The Wright Stuff.

Carrie Grant – Vocal Coach

Along with her husband, David, Carrie – a former dancer – is one of the UK's most sought-after vocal coaches. As a session singer Carrie has worked with various top artists, including Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, The Lighthouse Family and Fatboy Slim. David and Carrie's client list has included Will Young and Charlotte Church. The couple have been resident Fame Academy judges since the original series in 2003. In 2006 she appeared in the 91Èȱ¬ One series The Sound Of Musicals, and most recently emerged as overall winner of the 91Èȱ¬ Two reality series Safari School where she was trained as a ranger at South African game reserve.

Kevin Adams – Choreographer

Ìý

Kevin is an experienced choreographer, fitness instructor and personal trainer. He has been the UK/European aerobics champion and was ranked fourth in the world in 1993/94. He is a qualified personal trainer and worked extensively in LA with Paula Abdul. He teaches all styles of dance, including street, ballet, jazz, body popping, break dance, ballroom, salsa, contemporary and yoga. His dance/choreographer credentials include The Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham, Elton John, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey, Cher, Boyzone, Louise and Dannii Minogue. Kevin has also been training with Jade Goody. His most recent projects have been reporting for GMTV as a fitness instructor in Inch Loss Island and Inch Loss Beach.

Jeremy Milnes – Personal Tutor

Ìý

Jeremy is a trained actor, drama teacher, communication, confidence and assertiveness tutor. He spent 20 years as a drama teacher in between acting jobs and qualifying as a Samaritan Listener. Jeremy's acting credits include the lead male role in the film The Vapour Trail and TV appearances including ITV1's popular drama series The Bill, as well as numerous roles with touring theatre companies. Jeremy is also known as the confidence coach on 91Èȱ¬ Two's Would Like To Meet and most recently presented The Batchelor on 91Èȱ¬ Three. Jeremy is a regular contributor to Eve magazine.
