Ray Fearon voted out of Strictly Come Dancing

Ray Fearon is out on the street after failing to shine with the public after performing the Samba in Strictly Come Dancing on 91Èȱ¬ One.

Ìý

Ray and Camilla scored 26 out of 40 with the judges, and went head to head with Claire and Brendan.

Ìý

The judges said -

Ìý

Arlene: "Camilla you were hot, Ray you were not, you didn't love it and live it like you should. You should have been living it but you didn't."

Ìý

Craig: "Disappointed, it was clean and sharp but was stiff, it looked as if you were wrestling with your upper body."

Ìý

Len: "Samba is a carnival dance, you want fantastic hips, regarding the hips Ray I could say hip hip hoo Ray! Some of the other elements weren't as good. See it's bizarre, last week I thought you'd be terrible, but you were great but the samba wasn't as good."

Ìý

Bruno: "This should be your dance, I was disappointed. It lacked bounce. It wasn't your dance tonight."

Ìý

Ray said: "She said she was going to make a dancer out of me, and I think she's done a great job."

Ìý

All the contestants danced either the Samba or the American Smooth. Emma and Darren proved popular with the judges, who gave them an impressive 36 out of 40.

Ìý

There are only seven couples left in the competition, and next week they will be asked to perform a dance that they have not done before.
