Alex Zane is quickly establishing himself as one of the UK's most popular presenters.

Ìý

After his success on Balls of Steel (Channel 4) and Space Cadets: The Satellite Show (E4), Alex has been snapped up to present the Channel 4's relaunched Popworld.

Ìý

Alex also regularly hosts his own radio show on London's Xfm and performs stand-up on the London circuit.

Ìý

Alex is also a prolific writer and contributed to The Eleven O'Clock Show (Channel 4), Smack the Pony (Channel 4) and The Sketch Show (ITV).

Emma Samms

Ìý

Actress Emma Samms is most famous for her role as Fallon Carrington Colby in Dynasty. She then became one of the main characters in spin-off series The Colbys, and starred in the mini-series Dynasty: The Reunion.

Ìý

Emma has had an on/off role on the US soap General Hospital for the last 24 years, making her most recent appearance earlier this year.

Ìý

Emma now lives in the UK and had successful roles in 91Èȱ¬ programmes Holby City and Doctors.

Sarah Cawood

Sarah first came into the public eye when presenting Channel 4's The Girlie Show, with Sara Cox.

In May 2006, Sarah was presenting the National Lottery Jet Set when protesters invaded the studio. Sarah managed to keep presenting, despite the disruption!

Her other presenting credits include MTV, Live and Kicking and Top of the Pops.

Rowetta

Ìý

Manchester-born Rowetta began singing as a child, performing in singing competitions before progressing to singing in clubs professionally as a teenager.

Ìý

Rowetta has appeared as a backing singer for everybody from Billy Ocean to Simply Red. Rowetta went on to become part of the Happy Mondays and performed with them on their US and European tours.

Ìý

In 2004, Rowetta took part in the X Factor and her enormous voice made her Simon Cowell's favourite. After her X Factor success, Rowetta went on to release a self-titled album in 2005.

DJ Scott hosts 91Èȱ¬ Radio 1's popular drivetime show, which he took over in June 2004.

Ìý

At the tender age of 16, Scott became the youngest radio presenter in the UK when he signed up to do the drivetime show at Power FM in Southampton.

Scott joined Radio 1 in 1998 after a successful career at various radio stations including London's Heart 106.2.

Steve Strange

Welsh-born Steve is famed for being a pioneer of the New Romantic movement and has become a British cultural icon.

He recently embarked on a European tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his biggest-selling single, Fade to Grey.

Steve arrived in London from his native Wales in the Seventies and soon began working for music impresario Malcolm McLaren.

In 1978 he formed the band Visage, who two years later scored global success with Fade To Grey - which reached No.1 in more than 13 countries.

Tales of his extraordinary life were published in his best-selling autobiography, Blitzed, and he was even immortalised on stage in Boy George's successful musical, Taboo.

This multi-faceted television presenter, actor and singer made his presenting debut on LWT.

Ortis found his home as the anchor presenter for the cable and satellite channel Trouble, where he remained for four years before joining the 91Èȱ¬.

Ìý

Ortis is best known as one of the main presenters on the final two series of the 91Èȱ¬'s flagship Saturday morning show, Live and Kicking.

Ìý

As an actor, Ortis appeared in the feature 2005 thriller Derailed, alongside Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston, followed by a role in the critically-acclaimed British movie, Kidulthood.

Richard Fairbrass

The Right Said Fred frontman formed the band in 1988 with his brother Fred and friend Rob Manzoli.

In 1991 their debut single, I'm Too Sexy, remained in the No.1 slot for an impressive six weeks and went on to become a massive international hit. The song reached the No.1 chart position in 30 countries, including the US.

Their follow up singles included Deeply Dippy and Don't Talk Just Kiss.

Ìý

The band is hugely popular in Germany, and performed at the country's opening ceremony at this year's World Cup.

Their 2002 single, You're My Mate, stayed in the German Top 100 for 23 weeks and was awarded gold status in South Africa, where it was used as the official anthem for the South African Rugby Team in 2002.

From a young age, Darren always knew that his heart lay in the entertainment arena.

His first rung on the showbusiness ladder was as a Red Coat at Butlins holiday camp.

Darren has appeared in numerous West End musicals including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease and The Rocky Horror Show.

In recent years Darren has veered toward more dramatic roles including a guest lead in 91Èȱ¬ ONE's Doctors, and in the stage version of the popular Sixties movie, Alfie.
