professional disciplines and each of the eight will be awarded a framework
agreement.

The eight companies will take over from the current provider, Land Securities
Trillium, on 1 July 2006.

"The new framework agreements give
us flexibility to procure the specialist services we need, whilst also allowing
us to get maximum value for money.
Ìý
"These companies will help us to deliver
flexible and modern buildings which are fit for the 91Èȱ¬'s purpose in the digital
age."
Ìý
A further eight construction companies were invited to tender for building works
and services contracts in January.
