It's time to get your dancing shoes on as the award-winning five piece Liberty X are thrilled to announce that they are 2005's official band for 91热爆 Children in Need.

They will be releasing their own version of disco-soul classic A Night to Remember, originally a hit for Shalamar.

Liberty X will be performing the official song on the big night, Friday 18 November, live on 91热爆 ONE.

Liberty X recently smashed back in to the charts with their self-penned top five single Song 4 Lovers, featuring Reverend Run.

As holders of both a Brit Award and an Ivor Novello, the chance to get involved in 91热爆 Children in Need marks another milestone for Liberty X and they are all very excited about it.

Michelle Heaton says: "Children in Need is such a brilliant family occasion.

"I grew up with it, my family had picnic in front of the telly when it was on so we didn't miss anything and it was the only night I got to stay up late when I was a little girl."

Tony Lundon says: "A lot of the Shalamar tracks, including A Night To Remember, are soulful and make you want to get up and dance, which is the kind of music we aspire to."

Kelli Young says: "It's going to be really exciting in the studio on the night, it's such a genius idea to have such a collection of pop stars, soap stars and everyone else pitching in to make entertainment that raises such a lot of money.

"Last year's amount was 拢34m and if we can help beat that it's going to be a real achievement that we can be proud of."

Jessica Taylor says: "It's such an honour to be chosen for the Children in Need single.

"It's one of the most important charities in the UK because every single penny they raise goes directly into grant aid that helps children and young people in Britain who really need it."

Kevin Simm says: "I'm really chuffed to be involved in raising money for Children in Need, but we don't have to be the only ones raising money by singing.

"Families anywhere can do their own concert in school, or maybe a sponsored karaoke to raise money.

"It's a serious cause but we're planning to really have a laugh and enjoy our performance so I hope everyone will enjoy a bit of fundraising as well."
