Episode Two: New Tenant
Ìý
Carrie has lost interest in sex. Is it just a phase she's going through - or is Barry genuinely physically repellent? Or is it the trauma of finding out she is adopted? Barry's normally heroically morose daughter Sinead is falling in love with their slick new tenant next door. Barry is torn between kicking out the man who is about to despoil his daughter and taking his much needed rent money.

Episode Three: The Mummy
Ìý
Having discovered that she is adopted, Carrie agonises over whether to track down her biological mother. Barry, sympathetic at first, finally cracks, bored to tears. Feeling guilty, he decides to give Carrie a special present: a film, shot by himself. It's not long before he realises a book token would have been a lot easier.

Episode Four: Casualties
Ìý
Carrie and Barry are in a car accident. As they recover, side-by-side in hospital, Carrie pieces together the events that caused her to crash the car… Did she, as she suspects, swerve to avoid a chicken crossing the road? Kirk house-sits for them but is distracted by his pretty new girlfriend. He is too much in love to see that she is frankly a bit of a worry…
Ìý
Episode Five: Competition
Ìý
Barry has had it with his tenant – it's bad enough that Adrian is younger and richer than Barry, but he has completely seduced his daughter Sinead. Barry is stressed enough as it is, having foolishly agreed to run the marathon with his friend Kirk. Meanwhile, Carrie is having trouble at work with a new temp, who is so annoying she may have to be killed…
Ìý
Episode Six: The Wedding
Ìý
Barry's daughter Sinead names the day for her wedding. Barry reacts as any loving father would - by plotting to get rid of the hated fiancé, Adrian. Carrie wishes the young couple well, until they offend her. Beware a woman scorned… And Barry realises he needs to leave the house more when he gets over-excited about his new washing-up brush.
