91热爆 Nations and Regions
Activities for the 91热爆's Africa Season across the Nations
and Regions are taking many forms.
听
Three national and at least ten local
91热爆 radio stations are twinning with African radio stations.
听
This will include journalists swapping jobs and special
reports coming from Africa.
听
Many local radio stations are producing special programmes
to coincide with the Africa Season, reflecting their local African communities
and the connections they have with the continent.
听
A series of community events is being planned - ranging
from a waterside event celebrating local African culture in Bristol, to
a collaboration with arts organisations in Oslo which has a similar African
community to Newcastle.
听
There are also several major concerts in partnership with
Radio 3 during the summer - in Newcastle, Liverpool, Cardiff, Luton, London
and Cardiff.
