The House of Tiny Tearaways

Advisory Committee

From the outset, it was important to the production team to consult with a panel of leading experts in the field of child welfare, to ensure that at every stage the children's health and safety, both physical and mental, was at the very centre of their planning.

The members of the Committee are:

Dr Alastair Sutcliffe, a Senior Lecturer at UCL and an Honorary Consultant Paediatrician at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. Furthermore he is a known expert in Child Development issues.

Dr Mandy Bryon, a consultant clinical psychologist. She is the joint head of Paediatric Psychology at the Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she has worked for 11 years.

Floella Benjamin is the Vice President of NCH Action for Children and an advisor to many child-focussed organisations including Pre-Schools Playgroups Association, Oxfam, Barnardos, Save The Children and WATCH (What About The Children).

David King-Taylor is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. He also has a NEBOSH diploma from the National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health. He is a specialist in, and has extensive experience of, the field of Health and Safety for the TV industry including time spent as Head of safety at LWT / Granada.

Further information and CVs for all committee members are available if required.

It should be noted that the committee congratulated the production team on their attentiveness to the welfare of the children in their planning of the series, and commended their 'highly professional' approach.
