The
Marc Wootton Project
91热爆 THREE continues its commitment to the very best
in cutting edge comedy with a new project from Marc Wootton.
Having made his name with 91热爆 THREE's Cyderdelic, Marc
went on to star in Channel 4's My New Best Friend, which won the Comedy
Award for Best New Show amongst other plaudits.
He has also appeared in award-winning 91热爆 THREE series
Nighty Night.
Having just returned from filming the American version
of The Pilot Show - as the only British cast member to be asked on-board
- and wrapping his first major movie role alongside Martin Freeman and
Alison Steadman, this will be Marc's first truly headline project.
Intriguingly, the high concept of the show is such that
details still can't be released at this time, but early sightings report
a character-based tour de force that's equal parts comedy and audacity.

Monkey
Dust
2005 sees the third series of Monkey Dust, the critically acclaimed
satirical cartoon put together by a team of young British animators.
Loaded with awards since its last outing 聳 including
a Broadcast Award, a British Animation Award and even a Canadian Bafta
聳 the show reflects a dark, unhappy underside to Blair's Britain.
Series three sees the return of old favourites such
as Ivan Dobsky, the falsely-imprisoned mass-murderer; Omar, Abdul and
Shafiq, the would-be terrorists from West Bromwich; and the Paedofinder-General,
now booked for a regular slot.
New characters include Fran Chappell, an ordinary mum
who uses her daughter's disappearance as the springboard to launch a
showbiz career, and Noodles, the lab rabbit who bounces back like Tom
and Jerry from every unpleasant experiment.
Monkey Dust is produced by Harry Thompson (Have
I Got News For You, Harry Enfield And Chums, Da Ali G Show) and written
by him together with Shaun Pye (The 11 O'Clock Show, Tonight
With Jonathan Ross).
Monkey Dust is made by Talkback Productions.

7
Days
Some of the top comedy brains in the UK take a day-to-day look back
at the week's news.
They analyse, satirise and make funny
the previous week in
a frighteningly fast-paced half hour.
These episodes are pulled together with music, video clips and shiny
bright graphics making sense of the news of the last seven days, reducing
it to 'seven words', 'seven days', or even just 'seven vowel sounds'.
Personal opinions from the comedians, combined with witty captions against
clips of the last week of news, make
this a show for people who are really busy, really rushed or just really
lazy聟
7 Days is conceived and written by comedy
writers Tony Roche and Andy Marlatt.

Two Pints Of
Lager And A Packet Of Crisps
The hit comedy returns for a reassuringly offensive fifth and final
series.

a new depth to their relationship but for Donna and Gaz the signs are
not so encouraging.
When Donna finds out that Gaz has slept with Janet,
their relationship is thrown into possible terminal disarray. Will she
ever forgive him?
Meanwhile Louise at last meets the man of her dreams 聳 or does
she?
Ralf Little plays Jonny, Will Mellor plays Gaz, Natalie
Casey plays Donna, Sheridan Smith plays Janet and Louise
is played by Kathryn Drysdale.

The Last
Laugh
So you think you could write something funny for television?
Now's your chance.
End of Story - the 91热爆 THREE project which urged the public to complete
half written short stories penned by some of the
country's top authors - set an amazing precedent as the UK's most successful
short story writing competition, attracting an astonishing 17,380 entries.
Now it has given rise to a new challenge 聳 The
Last Laugh.
Some of the top names in comedy
writing 聳 including Carla Lane, Marks & Gran and The Peep Show's
Bain & Armstrong 聳 are crafting the first half of eight entirely
new sitcoms.
And this time 91热爆 THREE is laying down the gauntlet
to the public to put their funny lines聟 on the line and complete
them.
Like End of Story, The Last Laugh will kick off with
a launch programme then there will be a results
series in the autumn.
After the initial whittling down of entries, a judging
panel will select those to go through to the writing teams to choose
their favourite.
But this time, winning scripts could become comedy pilots for 91热爆 THREE.
A 91热爆 Scotland production.

Ideal
Johnny Vegas plays the lead role of
Moz, a small-time dope dealer, in this brand new comedy series, the
first to be commissioned from the 91热爆 Comedy Unit in Manchester.
Moz has been dealing for more than 20 years from his
small Manchester bedsit which he shares with his girlfriend, Nicki.
Although Moz's chosen profession is a dubious one he
is a man of principles: he deals only in the main varieties of marijuana
and sees himself as providing a crucial service to the local community.
Ideal is set entirely in the confines of Moz and Nicki's
flat with regular comings and goings from Moz's two closest friends:
Kuldip, an Asian DJ, and PC, a Police Constable who is also Moz's chief
supplier.
Joining them is a rich assortment of customers who include:
a man who always wears a children's mask and is known as Cartoon Head;
Jenny, the childminder from hell; and Brian, a camp scally who seems
to have a different boyfriend every time he visits.
These supporting characters will be played by new and
diverse acting talent drawn largely from the north of England and further
supporting 91热爆 THREE's desire to find and develop new comedy talent.
Ideal is a co-venture between 91热爆 Comedy and Baby Cow
productions.
