Cast Biographies


Kevin Whatley - Wolf


Kevin is one of Britain's best loved actors, who first came to the public's attention as Neville in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.


Also well loved for his portrayal of Sergeant Lewis in seven series and four films of Inspector Morse opposite John Thaw, Kevin has numerous leading roles to his credit: Jack Kerruish in the original three series of Peak Practice; Lucy Gannon's Trip Trap; Pure Wickedness; Plain Jane; Gobble; Promoted to Glory; two series of The Broker's Man for the 91Èȱ¬ and What Katy Did in Canada.


Kevin's extensive theatre career includes seasons at Perth, Stoke, Worcester, Newcastle and Leicester as well as the Bush, the Tricycle and Hampstead Theatres.


In 1996 Kevin played Juror 8 in Harold Pinter's production of Twelve Angry Men at the Bristol Old Vic and in the West End.


Kevin's film work includes Hawk The Slayer; Return Of The Soldier; Anthony Minghella's Oscar winning The English Patient; John Duigan's Paranoid; Mark Herman's Purely Belter and Julian Richards' Silent Cry.


Emma Pierson - Jenny Best


Although still in her early twenties, Emma Pierson has already notched up some impressive credits.


Most recently she starred in the 91Èȱ¬'s Charles II and has parts in Channel 4's Last Chancers and Hattrick's Worst Week of My Life.


Previously she has appeared in A Touch Of Frost; Coupling; Time Gentlemen Please and Armstrong and Miller.


On the big screen she appeared in Guest House Paradiso; Virtual Sexuality and Dumping Elaine.


Darren Boyd - PC Springfield


Darren may be best know for his appearances in the hit comedy series Smack The Pony but has also appeared in Hippies; Los Dos Bros; The Jury; High Heels And Low Lifes and Kiss Me Kate.


He has also recorded several radio dramas for the 91Èȱ¬.


Gerard Horan - Farmer


Gerard Horan is one of Britain's finest character actors.


Most recognised from his years in London's Burning playing the part of Charisma, he has also appeared in numerous other television dramas and films including The Singing Detective; Poirot; Shoot To Kill; Look Back In Anger; The Ice House; Wycliffe; Harbour Lights; NCS Manhunt; Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde and Down To Earth.


His film roles include parts in Frankenstein; Midnight Movie; Much Ado About Nothing; Hidden City; My Beautiful Laundrette; Les Miserables; Nicholas Nickleby and Bright Young Things.
