20,000
more listeners tuning in to 91热爆 Radio Nottingham
There
has been a jump in the number of listeners tuning to 91热爆 Radio Nottingham
each week, according to the latest official figures released today
(30 January 2003) by Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR).
The
figures show that 222,000 people now listen each week - an extra
20,000 listeners in Nottinghamshire compared to last quarter - and
an extra 16,000 listeners compared to the same time last year.
The
audience share has also increased, year on year, from 13.4% in 2001
to 14.6%.
Mike
Bettison, Editor, 91热爆 Radio Nottingham, says: "More and more
people are tuning in to 91热爆 Radio Nottingham which is really good
news. It's the biggest audience the station has had for five years."
Mike
adds: "These figures confirm that 91热爆 Radio Nottingham's unique
mix of local news, travel weather music and entertainment is as
popular as ever.
"As
we celebrate our 35th birthday (Friday 31st January) we can look
forward to the next 35 years with great confidence!"
