Lamb steaks with redcurrant and red wine sauce
lamb steaks

Lamb Steaks
Julie Wicks, promoting British meat, fed 91热爆 Nottingham Online with the following lovely meat dish...
Serves: 2
Cooking Time:
Approximately 12-15 minutes

Ingredients:
2 x lean lamb leg steaks
1 x 5ml sp (1tbsp) oil
3 x 15ml sp (3tbsp) redcurrant jelly
150ml (1/4 pint) red wine
1 x 15ml sp (1tbsp) fresh rosemary or pinch of dried rosemary
1 x 5ml sp (tbsp) gravy granules

Method:
1. Heat the oil in the frying pan and cook steak for 4-6 minutes each side.

2. Remove from pan and keep warm.

3. Add redcurrant jelly, wine and rosemary to the pan and boil for 1-2 minutes.

4. Add the gravy granules and stir until thickened.
