Michael Dawson is tipped for the top, and it's not just Forest
fans saying that. Sven Goran-Eriksson is said to be a fan of the defender.
But, Paul Hart and everyone connected with Forest will hope that the club won't
be forced to sell the defender.
Dawson came into the reds side in the Worthington cup 1st round against Kiddermister
Harriers. Since then he hasn't looked back.
His aggressive defending and accurate long passes have caught the eye of many
Premiership teams, namely Liverpool who sent Phil Thompson to the City Ground
in November.
Around the same time, Michael Dawson made his debut for David Platt's England
U21 side and was also invited to join the full England squad for a get together
at Bisham Abbey.
Michael is definitely one to look out for in 2003, the question is how long will
he be with Nottingham Forest?
