I was born in London and reared in Derry. I went to Queen's University
where I got myself a history degree. I taught for fifteen years
but finally escaped.
Ìý
I presented my first 91Èȱ¬ Radio Foyle programme in July 1987.
(He also won a Sony Award in 1993!!! - Ed.) I now do two programmes
a week and I am occasionally asked on other 91Èȱ¬ programmes as
a music pundit whenever somebody important dies. I do a nice line
in musical obituaries.
