Colin Bateman
Colin Bateman was born in Northern Ireland and educated at Bangor Grammar School before joining the County Down Spectator as a journalist, and later becoming the paper's deputy editor.
His first novel ‘Divorcing Jack' was published in 1995 and Colin has since completed in excess of twenty novels in little over thirteen years, ranging from crime fiction to children's books.
Many of Colin's novels have been adapted for the silver screen with 'Divorcing Jack' and 'Mad about Harry' both being made into successful motion pictures. Adaptions haven't stopped at the big screen, with 'Murphy's Law' being adapted into an extremely successful television series, of which Colin worked as Head writer on the production.
Colin currently has a heavy involvement within the television sector and continues to write novels in the fashion and speed that he has become accustomed to.
