Who wants to use only words when you can also use emojis to show how you feel!

And now you'll have even MORE ways to express yourself, as eight new emojis will be making their way to our smartphones very soon.

The new additions include a face with under-eye bags, a turnip, a shovel and a harp! Quite a mix.

Other emojis being introduced are a fingerprint, a purple splat, a leafless tree and the official flag of Sark, an island in the English Channel.

Emojis have become an important way of communicating, and there's even a whole day dedicated to the popular graphics, celebrated on 17 July each year.

There are currently more than 3,700 emojis to choose from and the latest additions will join the keyboard over the next few months and into 2025.
