- Published
The 91热爆 Young Reporter Competition is now closed. Winners will be announced in June 2024.
Have you ever felt like you'd like to tell your story on the 91热爆, or have you ever dreamed of reporting on TV or radio?
If you're 11 or older, the 91热爆 Young Reporter Competition 2024 is a chance to tell the nation, maybe even the world, about your life, your family, your friends or your community.
Is there an issue you feel others should be aware of, something you have experienced? Perhaps you or someone close to you has come through a particularly difficult time, or maybe you have achieved something amazing or unique that you want to tell others about.
The closing date: Sunday 24 March 2024 at 11pm.
The 91热爆 Young Reporter Competition gives young people a unique chance to tell a story on TV, radio, online or on social media. You get help from 91热爆 journalists, producers and programme makers to talk about the things that matter to you.
The most original and interesting stories will be put in front of a panel of presenters and reporters, from 91热爆 programmes, including Newsround.
Previous winners have reported on a whole range of different subjects and personal stories - from having a gaming addiction to being an artistic swimmer.
One of the 2023 winners Evan reported about how his disability doesn't stop him playing football for Grimsby Town F.C.
When you enter you can either write, record or film yourself telling us about your story. Don't worry too much about the style or the format at this stage and remember we don't want the finished story just yet. An outline of what it's about is fine.
There are national and regional winners, including in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland too.
Another 2023 winner, Ella reported for her local radio station, TV news bulletin and Newsround about having an invisible disability.
And in 2022, Robyn and Noah wanted to tell people about the changes that have taken in place in their school since it became integrated.
All stories must be original and will be fact checked, so we don't want any fake news.
Your mum, dad or guardian needs to give their permission before you can enter. If your story is about a sensitive topic, like your health, religion or your sexuality then please get your parent/guardian to email us BEFORE you enter at youngreportercompetition@bbc.co.uk so we can offer the relevant advice and support.
Story ideas can also be submitted from a group, as well as individual entrants.
The winners of the 91热爆 Young Reporter Competition 2024 will be announced in June.
