Seven cheetah babies born in US zoo

Seven cheetah cubs have been born in an American zoo, and they are purrfect!

The septuplets were born to mum Vaila, and are all said to be healthy and growing fast.

Cheetahs are endangered animals, with the population shrinking in recent years, so this is an important birth for the species.

The septuplets, born in Metro Richmond Zoo in Virginia, are especially rare because the likelihood of a cheetah having a litter of seven is around 1 per cent.

Cheetahs are known for their incredible speed, and it doesn't hurt that they're adorable as well.

If adorable cheetah cubs are your thing - and you're only human, so they probably are - then have a look at little Emmett and his puppy best friend Cullen having a play in the grass.
