Duck sculpture returns to Jersey Airport

The sculpture that was in Jersey Airport's fountain is being moved to the Airport roundabout
A sculpture of ducks in flight is being moved to Jersey Airport's roundabout.
The sculpture, called Décollage, was the centrepiece of a fountain in the Airport's departure lounge, but was removed in 2009 when the area was refurbished.
It had been kept in storage until enough money was secured to move it to the roundabout.
Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean said demand for it to be reinstated had been "very strong".
The sculpture, by Les Johnson, will be landscaped and lit in a project sponsored by UK company Barchester Healthcare.
The company runs the nearby Lakeside Manor, the retirement home on the site of the former Mermaid Hotel.
Mike Parsons, founder and chief executive of Barchester Healthcare, said: "We are happy to play a part in restoring the missing mallard sculpture back to its former glory... I think we all agree that ducks by Lakeside is a good ending to this story."
