The Transport and Technical Services department is proposing extra daytime and late services from the end of May.
The minister for transport and technical services, Constable Mike Jackson, said he wants a better and more consistent service to run throughout the year.
It includes a more late buses to St Brelade, more services to Gorey and six instead of two journeys to Bouley Bay.
Members of the public can give their opinion on the plans by 14 May.
There are plans for buses to leave every 15 minutes between Grouville Station and St Helier during the week, and new buses with more leg room could be used on the route.
