A man has died after paragliding off rocks at a Pembrokeshire beach.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the 43-year-old was seriously injured while taking part in the activity at Newgale beach, near Haverfordwest, on Sunday.

He was airlifted to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest but later died of his injuries.

Police said his next-of-kin had been informed. Any witnesses are asked to contact Haverfordwest Police station on 0845 330 2000.
