Chirk railway station is to get a 拢1.2m upgrade to improve disabled access, says Wrexham council.
The money will be used to install a new bridge giving wheelchair access to both sides of the platform as well as other modifications.
The work follows accessibility improvements at Wrexham's main General Station costing 拢1.5m earlier this year.
The funding for Chirk has been secured from the Department for Transport.
"These improvements will help to encourage more passengers to utilise services," said Wrexham councillor David Bithell.
