Nairn hotel visited by Charlie Chaplin up for sale

A hotel where Charlie Chaplin stayed during holidays in the Highlands has been put up for sale.
Chaplin, famous for his comic roles in black and white silent films, would book into the Newton Hotel in Nairn with his family later in his life.
The hotel has been put on the market with an asking price of about £4.5m plus VAT.
The former baronial mansion has 63 bedrooms and 21 acres (8ha) of grounds.
